Alabama has won their first National championship. Carried by their Heisman winner, Mark Ingram, the Crimson Tide were practically unstoppable. Their deffense was relentless. Alabama really deserved this win.
Texas' star quarterback, Colt McCoy, was injured in the first half and didn't return for the rest of the game. Freshman Garrett Gilbert had to step in, but the tenacious Alabama defense was too much for the former Gatorade Athlete of the Year.
Alabama was the most consistently dominant team this season. The Crimson Tide had wins over some of the best teams in the country, such as Virginia Tech, Mississippi, South Carolina, LSU, Florida, and Texas.
